A New Treasurer has been nominated as well and signatures on the new Series 2017 notes will bear the signatures of Steven M. Mnuchin and Jovita Carranza pending her Senate confirmation. This shouldn’t be political at all, and even with our broken government, it will likely get done.
The United States Mint has announced that it will no longer accept orders by mail.
I remember the last time I actually ordered something by mail, and it was 1997.

The 1802 Half Dime being an extremely rare coin the author has extensively scoured auction records oing back to 1859 and has only found 167 appearances of any 1802 Half Dime between that time and the end of the century.
